TradeStation Strategies, Indicators, etc.
HamScan is the next generation of HamTCScan (No longer available for purchase, sorry.)
It includes all the great features of HamTCScan, plus automatic detection and reporting
of common Fibonacci patterns, common Candlestick patterns, and Historical Volatility!
HamScan includes full Strategy Backtesting capabilities. You can enter a formula
for trade entry and test how well it has worked on historical data. You can create your own exit conditions
or use the built-in Trailing Stop, Stop Loss, Breakeven, Time Duration, and Profit exits. You can use the
Optimization feature to test different formulas and compare them. For example, if your trade entry condition
is triggered when the price crosses over a Simple Moving Average, you could have HamScan Optimize for
SMA values of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 - to find out which value works the best with your particular stock(s).
HamScan creates customized data collections and spreadsheets from
TCNet/TC2000, including all built-in WatchLists, Sorts, PCFs, and System Criteria. It can export
to Excel, text, or TradeStation files. It also provides calculations that can not be done easily
in TC, including Exponential Moving Averages, ADX, Average True Range, and others.
