HamFon Day Trading Workspace 1
Workspace1 windows:
- 15 minute chart with candlesticks for market indices and e-mini's:
$INDU (Dow Jones 30 Industrial Average), @YM (Dow e-mini futures),
$NDX.X (Nasdaq 100 Index), @NQ (Nasdaq 100 e-mini futures),
$SPX.X (Standard and Poors 500 Index), @ES (S&P 500 e-mini futures).
I find that this is much more intuitive than a price quote - it gives me some historical context for the day.
- 5 minute chart with candlesticks for other market indicators:
$TRIN (the Arms Index), $TRINQ (the Arms Index for Nasdaq),
and sector indices $SOX.X (Semiconductors) and $BTK.X (Biotechnology).
- Chart for current stock of interest, usually either displaying 5-minute or Daily timeframe.
The Symbol Group and the Interval Group are both tied to the RadarScreens of
Workspace 2 and Workspace 3 so that when
I click on a ticker symbol in the RadarScreen, this chart timeframe is changed, and also
the ticker is activated in the chart, with all indicators and lines being updated.
